Profiles are great which is not what I used to believe. Profiles help us to sort through who we are, sort of like an inventory.  Pictures really tell half the story, the second half is what we have done and what we are doing now.  I’m a Christian with history …funny how that came out. Aren’t we all carrying a lot of history with us. The history part almost implies some painful history, and with that , if we are honest, the mercy of the Lord an immense part.

I enjoy clearing brush ( really dirty but fun)...like some people enjoy painting rooms or houses..actually any kind of straightening, organizing...not that I’m a neatness freak but things are easier to handle if there is some sort of order, perhaps easier to sort through mentally. I’m big into helping folks do what is difficult for them to do alone. Moving comes to mind and in fact is one reason I bought a truck.  Moving can be an overwhelming task were it not for friends. Those annoying drawers that collect stuff and the garages full of things we’re not sure if we’ll ever need the contents and still hate to part with.
We're bear the image of our Maker although sin severely distorts that image. I believe that the Lord imprints on us as His creation some of His characteristics, those that are communicable on a creaturely level, self awareness, sense of law, sense of creator (we like to make things...some , more that others), sense of order. (Ok , jokes aside like "I've got no sense of order..sarcastically said ) We are made to appreciate beauty, to see HIs handiwork and learn about Him that way in addition to learning His ways from His word..Psalm 90,111, Gen 1:26, Ephesians , and many other places..It is satisfying to start in a cluttered room, junkie garage, overgrown brush and work it to an ordered condition..It certainly glorifies the Lord but as members of His body it really goes beyond just getting the place in order..

In Christ we learn ( and honestly it must be learned from Christs work on the cross) to forgive ..thats an immense and unnatural trait..He works in us that which is pleasing to Him. I especially enjoy seeing His work in others, forgiveness, patience, helpfulness..really beautiful ...is HIs handiwork. We are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus to glorify His name..Redeemed for His glory
