It's that time again. Another Beta has graced your doorstep. Take it in and care for it :)
A full list of things fixed can be found in the notes:

Lots of improvements to interface to make things more usable. I've also cleared out some bugs and tried to provide some more guidance for users as they navigate the system. If you have something you'd like to see, an interface improvement or something just looks screwy, fill out an issue here:
(you do need a google account)

I don't want to live in Beta forever, but there are still some things that prevent me from full release:
- I still don't have events management in. I don't think this is a huge deal, but it's important
- We have at least one report of a user seeing reservation data for their own items. It's been super-difficult to replicate and until I have a reproducible case that I can address, I don't feel comfortable releasing. It's aggravating, but there it is.
- The cleanup of escape characters still isn't done, and it looks ugly.

In case you didn't read the readme, there's the addition of a 'charSet' property in the options. This makes things behave a bit better in terms of DB storage. Please add that to your config.

Questions, comments go to me (aa...@aaroneiche.com is best). Bug reports and feature requests go to the aforementioned issue log. Download available here:

Thanks!

Whoops! Missing characters can ruin your day!
Please use: Beta 6.1! Fixes a minor but serious problem.

Thanks!

Just wanted to let you know that I went from beta 5 to beta 6.1 by following the instructions in the readme. Everything looks great -- I'm seeing all the fixes you implemented and the new enhancements/changes as well. Awesome.

For me now, issues 16, 48, 58, and 69 are at the top of my virtual wishlist. :)  (Shameless plug.)  You've done some amazing work and I look forward to seeing what's next!! THANK YOU!!!!

I forgot to mention a feature I snuck in. Some of you may have noticed it but I meant to actually let everyone know what was going on:

There's a means for including custom headers and footers now. The files are located in the 'custom' directory. There are four of them. 2 for the login page, and two for the 'logged In' page. You can stick any HTML in there that you want. As this renders in the page, you should be able to stick virtually anything themed via bootstrap and gain all of the advantages therein. A good example being the login page message at http://do-want.aaroneiche.com

If you want to use these, change the contents of the files, and in your configuration, make sure the following option is: $options['includeCustom'] = true;

These files won't be overwritten in the future, so you can count on them being untouched. I make no guarantees about how your custom stuff will render, though I make every effort to follow bootstraps design ethos so we shouldn't run into problems.

This functionality is not yet included in the installation step-through, but will be included later.

Awesome, thank you so much. This definitely helps make things easier for me!

Along the same lines: how about having the site title set in the config.php, instead of hard coded into the index.php? (Right now it's "Wishlist" but I change it each time.)  Clearly not a big deal but if you like the idea and want to do it, that'd be great. :)  That might be part of your planned Localization stuff anyway...?
