Hey folks,

I'm looking for some feedback about an interface design solution. Right now Do Want scales pretty well to the screen you're on, except when going to a phone size. In that case you end up cutting off the end of the wishlist tables, which contains the actual tools for manipulating. If you were actually out trying to shop with it, it becomes rather useless.

Included is a concept I worked on this weekend, there are a couple of changes:

An item's row is no longer clickable. Instead, and additional icon has been added to the tools column to click on and provide further information. The reason for this is that I've created a "collapse" view which reduces the column set to just 2. The collapse view puts the tools and ranking into the description column. sorting will probably have to be added via a drop down menu.

So, thoughts and feedback are welcome. General development has slowed down a lot as I've had some other projects occupying my time (and in a lot of ways I think of Do Want as moved into "bug fixing" rather than development), but I'm still open to features and will get around to them, it probably won't be this Christmas season though.

Thanks
-Aaron

I'm all for it. My mom (she's 56, and not computer savvy) actually commented to me that she "liked the old wishlist better". I asked her why, and she said because it had the icon to click to get to the information. haha  So I know she'd like it better.

Aside from that, though, yes, I noticed it doesn't format properly (i.e. it's unusable) on my phone (4.5" screen) and my tablet (7" screen). It would be great if it did, and this sounds like it would solve that just fine. I know I ran into that issue with the right column (the one with the icons) being cut off anyway, and using the "spanset" config option set to 10 or 12. I would guess this makes that unnecessary/irrelevant.

In short: sounds good to me!
