A recursive resolver in dnspython?

Greetings again. Has anyone written a somewhat-functional recursive resolver using dnspython? I might be doing so (as a test system, not for production use) in the future, and if someone has done even baby steps, that would be grand.

Well, this is some code I wrote to resolve records from root and find the parent of a zone, but you could definitely use the same logic to just go til you get an answer:
