I have just migrated to DNSControl from Terraform, and I was wondering why the preview command on route53 incorrectly adds the hostname onto the end of DNS records as fetched from amazon? This persists after a push. DNSControl version: 4.26.0

Hi Nilo!

I think this is related to the bug described here: 

Here's an experiment:
  • Delete one of those records using the AWS web UI.  Then run "dnscontrol push" to re-create the record.
  • If you run "dnscontrol push" again, that record should no longer have the problem.
If that works, repeat the process for the other records.

Yes, that does work! Thank you! Is there an open bug report with AWS on that?

I don't know of any open bug ids for that problem.  Could you submit one?
