Hello community,

I have a fresh install of system and managed to get the web up and many other things, but facing issue with ability simple connecting MicroSIP to the switch to be able to place my first call.

I have create an account, and also try to register to it on both port 5060 and 5080 and it does not work, anyone know how to get it to work? 
Bellow is my voip gateway section

Hello 
Edward Blake,

For SIP Phone registration, you need to add the 5080 under the voipgateway switch alias and keep the "Registration Authentication" check box enabled. 
Also, restart the switch API after configuring the 5080.
You can check the example image below for better understanding.

Also, please remember you need to configure the SIP phone using the 5080 only

Can I add an additional IP to the server and have it on port 5060 instead of setting the port 5080?

Yes, you can add multiple IPs to the server, have it on port 5060, but for SIP phone registration, you must add 5080.
