Hello DNJers!
Hopefully everyone is packing their “A” game today. It is win or go home time.
We were thinking of having a team pool party this coming Saturday since the tournament will over on Thursday when we win the championship. However, it is Memorial weekend, so we are not sure how many folks are going to be around.
If enough folks are going to be around and are interested in getting together, then we can get things organized.
Please let us know either way so we know how to proceed.
Thank you!
John & Jamie Guyer

We are definitely on. We don’t have all of the RSVPs yet but there were certainly enough to have a party. If you haven’t RSVPed yet, please do so I know how many burgers to have on hand.
I have not picked a time yet, but if folks want to weigh in on that as well, that would help. I would suggest we go later afternoon to maximize warmer weather.
We are looking to do burgers on the grill, swimming and etc. We have a play set in the yard for the younger ones, a corn hole set for those that just can’t get enough competition and of course we can always break out whiffle ball for those that can’t get enough of baseball.
A couple of notes on the pool. It is fenced off completely from the rest of the yard so if you don’t want your little ones in it, that is not a problem. There is small pool for the kids about 8 inches deep with bubblers. The bigger pool is 6’ at the most. It is a “sport” pool so it is mostly designed for laps and playing games. Please lifeguard your own children. None of us are certified. The last and most important note of all: NO SPEEDOs. I am not sure I could deal with the trauma.
For anyone that would like to help with the food, I will leave that to Jamie to chime in on.
John
We’re in. We’ll definitely bring some sides, but if there’s anything specific you need/want please let us know.
Thanks,
Veronica
Hello DNJers!
Game tonight and party on Saturday. That is a good way to end out a week. Here are some specifics on the party and ways you can help us.
Time: 4:00 PM – Whenever people get tired.
Location: 4000 Brittabby Court, Raleigh, NC 27606
Phone: 919-322-2645
Please let us know how many in your family are coming and the count of burgers and dogs your family would like. The burgers are good sized burgers. Some in our family eat a half, and some eat two (they will remain nameless). We will supply burgers, dogs and buns. If some of you wouldn’t mind helping with some of the items below, that would be great. When you reply with your headcount, please let us know which numbered item(s) you want to bring.
WHAT YOU CAN BRING.
If you want to swim, you will want a swim suit (I know I shouldn’t need to write that, but I don’t want to take any chances on this one) and towels. We have some towels, but not enough for everyone.
If you would like to bring something for the meal, please feel free to volunteer for items on the list. We have tried to break things up to keep the costs down.
1. Beer – ½ rack
2. Beer – ½ rack
3. Soda – 3 x 2 liter bottles

5. Soda – 3 x 2 liter bottles

John,
Thanks to you and Jamie for hosting the party. There will be 5 of us coming (possibly 6 if I can drag my oldest out, but I doubt it!).
Count for food is: 2 burgers and 5 hot dogs.
We will bring #2 and #7 (otherwise known as beer and chips). If there is anything else you need, please let us know.
Veronica
