Call for Participation
WORKSHOP ON THE DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF FUZZY CONTROLLERS
in connection with a
WORKSHOP ON FUZZY LOGIC R & D IN GERMANY
FEBRUARY 13th - 14th, 1992, Munich
On February 13 - 14, 1992, a two-day workshop on Fuzzy Logic will be
held in Munich. The workshop is a joint activity of the International
Fuzzy Systems Association - European Chapter - and of the German
Interest Group on Fuzzy Logic.
The workshop will be held at the Siemens facilities in Munich, Forum 1,
Otto-Hahn-Ring 6, 8000 Munich 83. The workshop will begin on Thursday,
February 13th at 10.00 o'clock and ends early Friday afternoon. The
participation fee will be DM 120,-- and has to be paid in advance to:
GB Fuzzy Logic WS, Benesch, Boronowski, Reinfrank at
Reuschel Bank, Munich, Acct.No. 11 31 047, BLZ: 700 303 00.
Hotel reservation of 50 single rooms has been made at the Novotel,
Rudolf-Vogel-Bogen 3, Tel. +49 89 638000. This option will be open until
January 15th. (The hotel is adjacent to the Siemens facilities at
Otto-Hahn-Ring.)
The first day of the workshop is dedicated to the design and analysis of
Fuzzy Controllers, including but not being limited to topics such as:
design criteria, stability and robustness, formal specification methods,
and machine learning for tuning. The program consists of invited
presentations and discussions. Presentations will be given, among
others, by Prof. Mamdani, Prof. Titli, Prof. Zimmermann, Prof. Kruse,
Prof. Driankov and Dr. Palm.
During the second day, different R&D groups in Germany will present
their work and recent results on Fuzzy Logic and its applications. The
program consists of invited presentations and of poster sessions.
