Single gene enrichment

Hi, 

One last question. If I wanted to use this package to check for enrichment in individual genes (do any genes have more de novos than would be expected by chance) should I just use the software with every gene in its own gene set (i.e. the number of gene sets tested would = the number of genes in the genome)? I realize that this sacrifices a lot of power due to multiple hypotheses, but potentially candidate genes could be tested by just testing gene sets (consisting of one gene each) of my candidate genes, correct? Is there another way you might suggest testing for enrichment for de novos in individual candidate genes other than making gene sets of one gene each?
