Hi vJUGers,

I'm Roberto Cortez, one of the new vJUG co-organisers, as Simon mentioned in a previous email. You've probably heard about the vJUG Book Club, and I'm very pleased to tell you that we are going to start with a new session on our first book in the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned for the Meetup events at http://www.meetup.com/virtualJUG/

Our first title is "Effective Java" 2nd edition by Joshua Bloch. If you don't have it, get it now: http://www.amazon.com/Effective-Java-2nd-Joshua-Bloch/dp/0321356683/ because you are going to need it (feel free to get the book itself or an electronic copy)! Our plan is to split the book into 3 Meetups where we are going to review, analyze and discuss the book. 

So this is your call to GET the book and READ the first 100 pages before our first session, to be announced soon!
