Khatha Registration

Hi All

Yesterday an agency who can support for the A-Khata registration was here in our campus to explain the process and charges. Khata registration need to be done apartment wise as OC is separate for Opulence and also require at-least 75% of the owners to opt for Khata registration so that we can negotiate better for professional charges. BBMP too asking for bulk registration from each apartment. Minimum timeline as per agency to complete registration process is 3 to 4 months.

Please find below the break up of professional charges & BBMP charges for khatha registration service and the agency details.

Agency details

Professional charges:

Khatha Registration to agency(online transfer)-----Rs.7500/-

EC till date to agency (online transfer)---------------Rs.1000/-

Service charge to BBMP as cash - Rs, 10,000

Mandatory to pay to the Government as DD:

* Betterment Charge----Rs.250/- for per sq.mtr of your total undivided share of land 

* Statutory Charge------2% of the Stamp Duty paid + Rs.125/-

Documents required from each flat

1. Sale deed copy

2. Tax paid receipt copy for the current year 2017-18

3. Signed Khata registration application form

Please reply back to this email if you are interested to go ahead with Khata registration. Owners who are residing outside India can opt for this if they are able to give signed application form and give cash for BBMP service charge. We are also exploring other agencies to get better rates according to the number of flats ready to do khata registration now. We will finalise the agency later. 

Note: Association is not responsible for this Khata registration, they are just facilitating the process. Responsibility of Katha registration lies with each individual owner. All the communication need to be done between owner and agency once the registration process starts.
