DNALinux VDE download?

my name is Sasa Ranisavljevic and I am student of Informatics on
Faculty
of Mathematic, University of Belgrade. I'm interested in
dioinformatics,
and I use Linux, so I found your project on Google.
I'm insterested in downloading your new distribution based on Ubuntu
7.04,
but it seems that there is some problem with torrent. When I try to
download it from BitTorrent it reports 404 error, like file is
missing. I
tryed to download it from other program ( Azureus ) but error is still
same.
Also, is there any way to install DNALinux to harddrive? It would be
nice,
becouse I would like to use it in our Bioinformatics laboratory as
defafult OS.
P.S. It seems that in...@dnalinux.com adress is dead, so I need to
contact you this way.

I updated the in...@dnalinux.com. The problem was that I changed the
hosting account and didn't setup the forwarder. It is working now.
Regarding the torrent, I have the file but I have my ports blocked (I
am behind 2 routers).
I will try to put it online somewhere else (it is more than 900Mb).

I'm Kaveh Mohtashami. graduated in Biotechnology and interested a lot
in Linux and also in learning BioPerl. I wanted to address that my
goal in Iran is to introduce this package to research centers to make
it default i think our goal is same. i reccomend you to buy the DVD i
want to to this you can propose this software to a research center and
ask them to buy it for themselves then get a copy this is legal and
moral. simoulteiniously you help to distribute it and have it for your
own.
also we can have some collaborations so i'm forward to hear from you.
just another question dear, do you know Perl programming?

Whell, Bioinformatics is not so popular in Serbia, i think that there is two or three labs beside this on my faculty. Whell, I don't have credit card so I can't buy over web, so I should wait for Sebastian to put DNALinux somwere on the web. I can maby find host here in Serbia who will put DNALinux on his FTP server, so other people can download it. Whell, about labs buying software... This is hard in Serbia, becouse small amount of money goes for expenses in research. Maby there is lab who will buy this package, I don't know, i should try...

Whell, I'm still new and I'm still learning, but why not :) Curently I'm interested in Bioinformatics packages for Linux, and DNALinux is an answer to my problems :) About Perl, it's great language, I haven't time jet to start learning it, but I recomend O'Rilleys literature for learning Perl. I heard from my proffesor that there is a good books about Perl and Bioinformatics, but I just dont know Perl programming so well now...

I am still looking for a place to host it. The problem is that the
bandwidth cost are very high for such a big file.
