I have one question about the scoring. If GLOCSA uses a mean column
heterogeneity score, would the GLOCSA component scores for each column
be a better column metric than the consistency scores currently being
displayed? I know the consistency score metric was my idea
originally, but pre-dates using the GLOCSA scores. While expected
heterozygosity is an appealing metric for consistency, it is still
rather ad hoc in the context of evolution on a phylogenetic tree and
does nothing to take into account that sequence evolution occurs in a
phylogenetic context.
