2/ I'm also curious about whether there is an updated fixture file for the Kam Parbar Mark 3 - there seem to be a couple in the library but I'm not sure they address the strange requirement by Kam that "the DMX function will only work if CH1 is set to DMX Mode, which is set by adjusting the DMX fader value below 009 and the DMX Fade function (CH2) is set to light output level above 0% or DMX fader value greater than 1. Please Locate CH1 position the fader greater than 000 and less than 009 DMX fader value. Locate CH2 fader and check fade function control is set. Increase to DMX fader value 255 for 100% full on output. Then you will have control of the DMX functions"

I've published a new profile for the Parbar MKIII, you should be able to see it now in the public library.

3/ I'm using Splashtop on an iPad to remotely control DMXis (largely due to the shape of the club it's being used in) and this does seem to work - though DMXis has unexpectedly quit a couple of times.   I wondered whether anyone had any experience of this method of working and/or any alternative methods of remote control?

Most remote desktop apps should work fine with all our lighting software products. Do you mean that Splashtop is causing DMXIS to crash? Does DMXIS behave when you are NOT using Splashtop?

You can raise a support ticket for this if you prefer. Please email as much detail as you can to sup...@enttec.com and we can investigate further.

Dave, many thanks for your speedy response.   It was noting your support that tipped me into making the buying decision when purchasing DMXis.

I'll try the Parbar profile - Thank you for that.

It seemed that Splashtop was causing DMXis to crash as when working directly with it all seemed fine.  I'll try to replicate it and see if there's a common cause then let you have any details I find.

Thanks again.
