I run it sporadically on a Samsung NP-N140 with Win 7 Home and 2GB. It CAN get behind input commands if clicked on too rapidly and freeze up. Of more concern is the fact that that notebook, like many others, has a display depth of only 600 pixels and DMXIS has an un-resizable window depth of 768 (or so) that makes the bottom or the top unreachable without moving it around. Inconvenient to say the least. I get around some of this with a Korg Nano connected to a second USB. (Might be fun to use a Surface Pro or Lenovo Yoga ... I'll have to buy one or the other soon).

By the way, I'm not a pro in any way ... just using this system in a local organization occasionally.

Thanks -

I got around to setting up some test scenes on it and so far, so good.  Seems to have plenty of headroom, and runs pretty snappy.  No complaints, yet.

I've also been able to deal with the resolution issue with a set of drivers that actually allow me to run the screen in a slightly squashed 1024x768 mode.  Regardless DMXis runs fine even in 1024x600 mode.  If you auto-hide the Start bar, you only lose a few pixels at the bottom of the app and no functionality.

Now - the real test - to have it run an actual show.
