Just a reminder To everyone who knew my mom the visitation is from 4-6 and the funeral is at 6pm Today at the Merle Hay funeral home, 4400 Merle Hay road Des Moines, Ia. There will a wake following at our apartment complex club house with food, wine and a celebration of her life. Alcohol is permitted for all of those of legal age. we have the Clubhouse until 10pm I know this conflicts with the club potluck, but it was the only time we could reschedule for after Wednesdays blizzard.

 

directions to our apartment complex:  take Merle Hay road north to nw 62nd, then take nw 62nd west to 103rd street ( road will change from 4 lane to 2 lane about 50 feet from corner of nw 62rd  and 103rd st) turn north the complex is on the left.

Candy,
I am sorry I could not make the celebration of your mom's life. Phil was unable to get to my place until late on Friday and I am not supposed to drive at night with my cataracts. My eye doctor wants to wait until both eyes are severe enough to do lens replacement surgery and put in corrective lenses. So, next May I will actually be able to see distinctly for the first time in my life. I just will have a miserable six months with blurry vision.
 
Anyway, it is so hard to lose parents. I hope you will be at Al and Diane's party so I can talk to you. Every time I see exotic chocolates, I think of our chocolate program.
 
I don't have your current address to send a holiday card. We had a family photo taken at premiere pets with the 3 dals.
