Just wanted to pass this on for your information as it may be of interest to some in the group.

 

I recently verified with Security that DMACC no longer has any restrictions that would prohibit Scrabblers to meet in building 5 as we did so many months ago.

Valerie,

      Yes. For a few months it has just been 3 of us----Lynn Hiller, Cheryl Thompson, and myself, and I only make it about 2 Tuesdays per month. I usually arrive around 4:30pm, and Cheryl and Lynn have usually played a couple games by then.

Valerie, I'm so sorry if you showed up at MHM yesterday and did not find us!  I'm just seeing these emails now, or we'd have made it a point to be there for you.  We'd pretty much given up on anyone besides ourselves coming, and knowing that Deanna wouldn't be joining us yesterday, Cheryl and I played by ourselves at a different location.  We'll be at MHM next Tuesday, and hope to see you then.  

Is there any chance that others of you might come back, too?  I really miss our group!!!

Anyone else?  Neither Cheryl nor Deanna can make it today, so unless someone else comes, it'll just be you and me, Alan.  I don't believe we've ever met, but I'm game!  I'll be sitting at one of the food court tables near the entrance to Kohl's.

Really wish I could get there tonight as seeing you and Alan would be such a treat! If I get a chance to swing by and say hi I sure will but I can’t play tonight as we have a guest in and dinner plans. It is NOT that I am intimidated by Alan still remembering his two letter words! Even though I grow increasingly unsure myself …
