JOB PROFILE FOR EACH CATEGORY :

1.0 - OFFSHORE SUPERINTENDENT
-----------------------------------------
1.1 JOB DESCRIPTION

* Directly responsible to the COMPANY Site Representative for all offshore construction activities.
* He shall be responsible for ensuring that these activities are conducted strictly in accordance with all safety codes, design and technical specifications. That the WORK is at all times done safely in an efficient manner and that all construction EQUIPMENT for use shall be maintained in a safe operating condition.
* He shall ensure that proper records/registers are kept updated. These records shall relate to movable items, imprest stock, tools and EQUIPMENT, lifting EQUIPMENT, crew rosters/schedules.
* He shall ensure that all his personnel are fully conversant with safe working practices and that such are implemented.
* He will be a prominent member of the VESSEL(S) safety committee.
* His position shall include responsibility for the on-site training of subordinate personnel.
* He will implement a job progression programme for the purposes of ensuring that a constant source of experience is available at all times to cover for absences, and to ensure that Brunei Citizens become experienced in the industry.
* He shall continually monitor the status of the WORK to ensure it is being done in the most efficient manner and that all materials/consumable are available.
* At all times he shall ensure that WORKSITES are kept clean and safe.
* Prior to the start of any work he shall have reviewed the work scope and be completely familiar with all technical and manual requirements.
* He shall ensure that all project documentation and status reporting are prepared accurately and timely.
* In addition to his offshore function he shall be required to spend one month of his 2 months offshore cycle period in the COMPANY’s office. Specifically during this onshore period he will ensure that all offshore construction requirements are addressed during the Campaign Plan preparation stage. Additionally he shall ensure that the final plan properly reflects the work to be undertaken.

1.2 MAN SPECIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

As a minimum he shall have 15 years of heavy offshore construction work whereby he has acquired a sound working knowledge of civil and structural/marine engineering in the oil and gas industry.
He will have good man-management skills particularly with regard to Brunei Citizens. As a minimum he shall have held the position of Construction Superintendent for 5 years in a similar environment.
He should hold an engineering qualification from a tertiary institute such as Final City & Guild or equivalent. Preferably a Bruneian.

2.0 - FIELD ENGINEER
------------------------
2.1 JOB DESCRIPTION

* Directly responsible to the COMPANY Site Representative on all engineering planning, commissioning, materials and all other technical services essential to support the construction activities at the offshore WORKSITE.
* He is to ensure that the details included in the Campaign Plan are fully understood and properly applied by the Construction personnel and that all the project preparation made by the Hook-up/ Planning team is in order.
* He is to work in close liaison with the COMPANY Site Representative and the Construction Superintendent to advise on the technical aspects related to the project.
* He supervises other CONTRACT personnel at the WORKSITE including the Scheduler, Materials Coordinator and the Technical Administrator and coordinates their activities according to project and COMPANY requirements.
* He also coordinates any request from the Construction Superintendent or the Master any resources required by his subordinates.
* He is to liaise with the onshore Hook-up/Planning and Commissioning team and relevant COMPANY personnel for all design, planning, materials commissioning problems that may arise.
* He shall review project planning with a view to improve on the completion date, if possible during implementation. He shall at all times know the current progress of the project with respect to planning. He should be able to give details of why a project is ahead/behind schedule at all times.
* He will be required to spend the one month of his two months offshore cycle in the COMPAY’s shore office. Specifically during his onshore period he will ensure that all offshore construction requirements are addressed during the Campaign Plan preparation stage.
* Additionally he will ensure that the final plan properly reflects the work to be undertaken.

2.2 MAN SPECIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

Must have a recognized degree in an appropriate engineering discipline. He must have at least 10 years experience in this position of which at least 8 years in offshore oil and gas industry including experience in a major offshore project. Five years in a supervisory role is also essential. Preferably a Bruneian.

3.0 - TECHNICAL ASSISTANT/ ADMINISTRATOR

3.1 JOB DESCRIPTION

* He shall report directly to the Construction Superintendent and the COMPAY Site Representative (offshore), or the Company Authorized Representative and will maintain a close liaison with the Construction supervisor or the Senior Yard Supervisor.
* He will be required to carry out all administrative duties offshore including preparation of times sheets, preparation of accident reports, routine daily, weekly and monthly reports and arranging the crew changes for all of the CONTRACTOR’s personnel. All documentation will be checked and counter signed by the COMPANY Site Representative.
* In order to arrange for crew changes he will liaise with the VESSEL (S) CONTRACTOR personnel and his own shore based personnel in order to ensure that all arrangements are made for both the incoming crew and the outgoing crew and that the numbers and disciplines changing are compatible.
* He shall ensure that all required consumable are ordered and supplied on a timely basis.
* He shall maintain complete records of consumable used/on-board/on-order and control their issue, he should therefore have a sound knowledge of all items held in stock and their usage. These records shall be made available to the COMPANY Site Representative on request.
* He shall maintain records of all EQUIPMENT and tools on board the VESSEL (S) and to who and when they were issued. He should make periodic checks that all items are still in good condition and that no items are missing. Spare tools and EQUIPMENT are to be kept on-board to replace lost or damaged items.
* He shall arrange for EQUIPMENT requiring maintenance to be returned to shore for repair. The maintenance records of all items of EQUIPMENT shall be held on-board the VESSEL. When arranging shipment of EQUIPMENT to shore he shall prepare the consignment note(s) and draft a fax to advise COMPANY and CONTRACTOR personnel onshore of the impending shipment, with reasons and requirements, the telex must be approved by the COMPANY SITE REPRENSTATIVE before being transmitted.
* When required he shall arrange for:
i. Supply of fuel
ii. Supply reference documentation required by supervisory personnel i.e. International Standards, Government Requirements, etc.

3.2 MAN SPECIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

Must have attained minimum qualifications to ‘O’ level with good grades. Training in the use of computers for administration and materials control preferred. 7 years in a administrative position of which 3 years in the offshore oil and gas industry and 3 years in a supervisory role. Due to the large practical aspects of the job he should have a good understanding of the work content of the personnel he administers. He must also understand the use of all tools and items of EQUIPMENT provided under the CONTRACT. He therefore requires having a sound practical background.

4.0 - CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR
----------------------------------------
4.1 JOB DESCRIPTION

* The Construction Supervisor reports directly to the Offshore Superintendent. He is required to work on a 12-hour shift system.
* His prime task is to install offshore oil and gas facilities in accordance with COMPANY and International Standards, within the planned programme duration, employing safe operating practices.
* He is to work in close liaison with the Field Engineer, Scheduler and Materials Coordinator and COMPANY’s Campaign Engineer in order to efficiently progress the works.
* He shall organize and arrange all work involved in a project in accordance with the programme. When and where feasible he will initiate and direct additional parallel activities to endeavor to improve on overall efficiency.
When variations of the intended programme and/or drawings become essential, he will either, decide on-site for very minor items and keep the Construction Superintendent and COMPANY Site Representative (CSR) informed, or discuss with the Construction Superintendent and/or Construction Engineer and CSR to arrive at a suitable solution to the problem.
* He shall check via the Materials Coordinator that all project material has arrived on the VESSEL for each project prior to the commencement of each job. Any shortage shall be reported to the Construction Engineer for action.
* The Construction Supervisor is principally responsible for:-
i. Organizing and controlling the on-site supervision of all construction works carried out on or from the VESSEL (S), to good oil field practice and specifications optimizing on VESSEL (S) performance to complete the WORKS within the planned duration.
ii. To ensure that the CONTRACT personnel operate in a safe and systematic manner with maximum care being taken to ensure that all personnel are motivated and organized in safety procedures.
iii. To study working procedures and programmes and to put forward to the Construction Superintendant any suggestion or new ideas to improve VESSEL performance.
iv. Assistance to the Construction Superintendent in investigations of accidents and provide comments and/or ideas to avoid future occurrence. He is a member of the VESSEL safety committee.
v. To impart his knowledge and experience regarding procedures and other information concerning safety and all aspects of construction WORK to his subordinates.
vi. He is especially responsible to train Bruneian in good oil field and construction practices and procedures, and to develop them to take increasingly responsible positions.

4.2 MAN SPECIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

Must have served a recognized apprenticeship training plus senior technician level qualification. Candidate must have a minimum of 15 years experience and at least 10 years offshore construction experience of which 8 years in a supervisory role. Must have a good knowledge on international construction and safety codes. He must be fully familiar with the hazardous high fire risk situations.
It is necessary for him to have a sound knowledge of international and COMPANY standard specifications and welding procedures. Knowledge of welding techniques and procedures, and the wide range of pipe materials being used is required.
He must be able to interpret drawings and specifications and translate them into understandable terms. Training subordinates in this respect is a major part of the training role of his tasks. Preferably a Bruneian.

5.0 - ASSISTANT CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR

5.1 JOB DESCRIPTION

* The Assistant Construction Supervisor reports directly to the Construction Supervisor.
* He is responsible to act on WORK instruction from the Construction Supervisor and shall coordinate the activities of all tradesman and personnel under his control, to ensure that the tasks allocated to him are executed according to the drawings, specifications, COMPANY and International Standards, and in a safe and efficient manner, by organizing and planning his work correctly.
* His general duties are similar to those of the Construction Supervisor but with diminished responsibility and authority.
* He is to be involved in specific areas such as the checking of project materials, pre-fabricated spools and structural members ensuring that they are available on-board and are in accordance with the drawings. He should liaise with the Scaffolding Supervisor and ensure that the scaffolding is planned and erected in good time to avoid delays to progress.
* He should be fully aware of the project programme and e familiar with the time required to execute most construction activities. Any delays in an activity should be brought to the attention of the Construction Supervisor, to make an assessment on the effect to the overall programme.

5.2 MAN SPECIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

Must have completed an engineering apprenticeship, (mechanical preferred) have a minimum qualification of Technician Level certificate. 10 years experience in the construction industry of which 7 years in the oil and gas industry including 5 years in a supervisory capacity in an offshore environment. He must also be aware of the requirements of the hazardous area classifications.
He must be able to read and understand drawing and specifications and be fully familiar with all piping fittings and components including piping materials and pressure classifications. He must be conversant with oil fiend and construction terminology.
He should have a good appreciation of all relative International Standards and Codes of Practice in addition to COMPANY specifications.
He should be able to read, write and speak English and Malay. Preferably a Bruneian.

6.0 - WELDING SUPERVISOR

6.1 JOB DESCRIPTION

* The welding Supervisor shall work under the direction of the Construction Supervisor or Assistant Construction Supervisor (offshore) or the Senior Yard Supervisor for onshore (yard based) in charge of executing a task of WORK.
* The Welding Supervisor shall be an experienced welder of 8 years (as hereinafter described) and shall have been engaged in offshore work in the petroleum industry for a minimum of 5 years. He shall have experience of coordinating and supervising welding and marking off activities offshore on both drilling and production platforms, and onboard construction VESSEL(S) for a minimum of 2 years.
* The Welding Supervisor’s responsibilities and activities shall be:
@ To supervise all welding and marking-off activities;
@ To ensure his welders and markers/fitters adhere to established safety rules, codes, practices and regulations in accordance with COMPANY’S procedures;
@To ensure all his welders and markers/fitters have the required tools and safety equipment, and that such items are maintained in a good and safe condition;
@ To read drawings and specifications, and be familiar with the WORK programmes to progress the work as necessary for the timely and proper execution of the WORK;
@ To report immediately to the Construction Supervisor or Construction Superintendant (offshore) or the Senior Yard Supervisor (for onshore fabrication yard), any discrepancy, or material shortages he may discover;
@ To ensure discipline on members of his crew, and if required, request a replacement of unacceptable individuals after liaison with the welding inspector.

6.2 MAN SPECIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

He must have served a recognized apprenticeship as a welder and be qualified to technician level with City and Guilds (or equivalent) qualification. He must have a minimum of 8 years experience in welding and fitting, with at least 5 years in the oil industry and 2 years at a supervisory level.
He must be familiar with the international welding codes API 1104, ASME IX and AWS and also COMPANY specifications. He must also be familiar with the various grades of steel used in the oil industry and the welding procedures required for the various steels including pre and post heat treatment. In addition he is required to be fully familiar with all pipe work fittings and pressure classifications use in the oil industry.
He must be a qualified piping and structural welder as described in L3, L4, L5, L6 and L7 to 6GR and TIG for small and large bore pipe work and structural steel work.
In addition he must also be familiar with the hazardous area classifications and requirements.
He shall be able to read, write and speak English and Malay.
Preferably a Bruneian.

7.0 - PLANNER/SCHEDULER

7.1 JOB DESCRIPTION

* Directly responsible to the Construction Superintendent.
* He shall liaise with COMPANY SITE REPRESENTATIVE (CSR) to prepare the next day’s plan of construction activities based on the Campaign Plan Activity details and previous work of date. In conjunction with the Administrator he shall assist in preparing the CSR’s daily work progress.
* He shall monitor the progress of all WORK activities identifying the necessity for rescheduling if necessary. He shall update the completion status of individual job cards and the overall status of the WORK.
* He shall verify the resources and materials utilized against each Campaign Plan Activity and the WORK as a whole. This shall be recorded in the CSR’s daily report.
* He shall be required to record minutes of all project coordination meetings. In addition he will maintain a daily man-hour expenditure report, which will form the basis to the weekly report.

7.2 MAN SPECIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

He shall be qualified as a minimum to HND/Degree in one of the engineering disciplines. He shall have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Planner/Scheduler and Estimator, 3 years of which will have been in the offshore oil and gas industry.
He shall be fully conversant with the Primavera and WMS system.
He shall be able to read, write and speak English and Malay. Preferably a Bruneian.

8.0 - MATERIAL COORDINATOR

8.1 JOB DESCRIPTION

* He is responsible to the Field Engineer (offshore), and to the Senior Yard Supervisor (onshore yard).
* He shall identify and rectify materials shortage.
*He shall be responsible for the proper receipt and storage of project materials delivered to the WORKSITE and the subsequent issue for use on construction activities at the WORKSITE. Upon the completion of the project he shall ensure that all surplus project material are returned and properly packed for transportation to COMPANY’s shore material base complete with full necessary documentation.
* He shall also maintain and operate a floating stock of COMPANY’s materials at the WORKSITE, which will be issued on an as and when required basis for use on COMPANY’s project.
* He shall ensure that the COMPANY’s procedure for materials receipt, storage, issue and return is compiled with at all times and that the necessary documentation is available for all the movement of all times under his responsibility.
* He assisted by a subordinate materials assistant to carry out various duties.

8.2 MAN SPECIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

Must have attained minimum education to ‘O’ level with good grades. Must have undergone training in the use of computers for administration and materials control. Must have at least 8 years in a materials related role at an oil and gas construction worksite, with 3 years working experience offshore. Previous supervisory experience is required.
He shall able to read, write and speak English and Malay.

9.0 - ASSISTANT MATERIAL COORDINATOR/ MATERIAL SUPERVISOR

9.1 JOB DESCRIPTION

* He is responsible to the Materials Coordinator.
* He shall assists the Material Coordinator in discharging his duties and this primary role is that of the storekeeper for all COMPANY materials at WORKSITE.
* He shall witness the receipt and return of project materials from and to the marine vessels transporting COMPANY’s materials. He is to monitor the level of items held at the WORKSITE floating materials stock and advise accordingly on replacement.

9.2 MAN SPECIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

Must have maintained minimum education to ‘O’ level with good grades. Ability to use basic PC software is preferred. Must have at least 5 years in a material related role at construction worksite, with 2 years offshore working experience.

10.0 - HSE OFFICER
----------------------
10.1 JOB DESCRIPTION

* Directly responsible to the COMPANY Site Representative (offshore), and to the COMPANY Authorized Representative (onshore yard) for all WORKSITE safely related matters.
* He shall assist in developing enhance HSE policy procedures and standards with the COMPANY Site/Authorized Representative and other senior personnel on the vessels and onshore yard.
* His duties shall include a comprehensive briefing of all incoming crews and visitors on emergency and standard HSE procedures. He will conduct regular safety talks covering pertinent topics and will chair the weekly safety meeting and arrange for the distribution of minutes.
* He will be responsible for ensuring that all safety related items contained in the permit to works system are complied with.
His daily activities will include monitoring of all activities to ensure that safe working practices are in place. He shall have the authority to stop any unsafe act and will immediately report any unsafe condition. He will institute follow-up action in both cases to prevent re-occurrence.
* His area of responsibility shall include all machinery; equipment and worksite within the jurisdiction of the COMPANY Site/Authorized Representative.
* He shall conduct weekly checks on the condition and status of all safety related equipment and documentation.

10.2 MAN SPECIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

He will have served a recognized trade apprenticeship and as a minimum possess a NEBOSH (National Examination Board of Occupational Safety and Health) or its equivalent and certified by National institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH). He shall have a minimum of 10 years experience in the offshore hydrocarbon industry 3 years of which will have been an HSE officer. He shall be fully conversant with all HSE aspect associated with the individual trade skills.
He shall be fully conversant with the principles of fire prevention hazardous area zoning and equipment.
He shall have received training in accident investigation.
He shall be able to read, write and speak English and Malay.

11.0 - RIGGER FOREMAN/SUPERVISOR

11.1 JOB DESCRIPTION

* He reports direct to the Construction Supervisor (offshore) and the Senior Yard Supervisor (onshore yard), and is in charge and responsible for the supervision of all rigging activities.
* He shall have substantial practical experience in the art of rigging and shall be able to control various classifications of riggers as specified hereinafter, and shall be able to organize their combined efforts to ensure that all rigging jobs are carried out safely in accordance with approved COMPANY practice to achieve the best results at all times.
* He shall be capable of working independently both on board, or working away from the VESSEL(S) (e.g. aboard an anchor handling tug, etc) on in the fabrication yard.
* He is responsible for:-
i. Selection of correct slings and shackles for all lifts;
ii. Removal from service and destruction of any slings which require replacement.
iii. Slinging and controlling lifts by the crane or winches in safe and efficient manner.
iv. Deciding on the type of rigging and arranging the reeving-off of blocks and tackle, and the use of other rigging devices as required to safely and effectively position pipe work and structural item etc:-
v. Erecting and operating a gin-pole or “A” frame to lift, place or erect pipe work equipment or derricks;
vi. Being familiar with and taking charge of anchor-buoy and pennant recovery and handling on board during VESSEL moves;
vii. In addition he must be able to operate anchor winches on board the VESSEL from both the local console and from the remote control console on the tower, as instructed by the VESSEL master or deck foreman to assists in VESSEL moves if required.
viii. For ensuring that all rigging equipment is properly maintained, inspected and that all certification is current.
ix. Must be able to assemble all types of pipe work, welded, screwed or flanged in a neat and workmanlike manner.

11.2 MAN SPECIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 10 years rigging experience of which 6 years have been spent in a supervisory capacity on offshore and onshore locations. Must have a current certificate of fire fighting training and required courses by COMPANY’s procedure/guidelines.
Must be aware of the workings of most types of equipment used in construction work and be familiar with safe working loads, care, proper storage, of equipment and training of all other riggers on board to do likewise.
He must be able to use hot cutting gear wherever necessary.
He must be able to splice an eye on a manila and synthetic fibre and wire rope, and be fully competent with all knots, bends and hitches.
He must know the correct way to attach bulldog clips or any other common wire rope fittings and ensuring that this practice is adhered to at all times by all riggers.
He shall be able to read, write and speak English and Malay.

12.0 - SCAFFOLDING SUPERVISOR

12.1 JOB DESCRIPTION

* He is responsible for the erection and maintenance of all scaffolding.
* He shall ensure that all scaffolding materials and erected structures conform to COMPANY HSE standards.
* He shall also ensure that the “Scafftag” system of inspection is implemented on all scaffolding, and that all scaffolding is correctly recorded in the scaffolding register including re-inspections.
* Having been advised by the Construction Supervisor or the Senior Yard Supervisor that scaffolding is required he shall check the duty and loading. He is then responsible to design, plan and supervise the erection of the scaffolding.
* He is to apply a hands on methods of supervising, assisting the scaffolders working for him and explaining why the scaffold is built as it is.
* For the “Scafftag” system, he shall be the recognized authority to sign the “Scafftag” as fit for use.
* He is to ensure that all scaffold personnel work to the highest safety standards and pay special attention to the use of work vests and safety belts/harnesses.
* He is responsible for checking that all scaffolding materials are regularly inspected and maintained, and ensuring that all fittings and couplers are lubricated and kept in good working order and that all tubes and boards are in good condition.
* He is to train and develop the Bruneian scaffolders on the job to improve their knowledge and performance. He is to pay special attention towards developing their safety awareness.

12.2 MAN SPECIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

CITB, EITB Advance Scaffolding Certificates or equivalent, a minimum of ten years experience as a scaffolder in he construction industry of which 6 years should be in the oil and gas industry and minimum of 5 years in a supervisory capacity. He shall be able to read, write and speak English and Malay.

13.0 - PAINTING SUPERVISORS:

* He is in charge and responsible for the supervision of all painting and blasting activities, and shall be responsible for the supervision, co-ordination and control of a team of blasters, painters and helpers.
* He shall co-ordinate the activities of his crew, and organise their combined efforts to ensure that all tasks are carried out safely in accordance with approved COMPANY practice, in a safe and efficient manner, to achieve the best results at all times.

13.2 MAN SPECIFICATION / EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 5 years experience in blasting and painting operations and minimum qualification of BGAS Level 3 or NACE Level 1.
Familiar with the COMPANY painting specifications (BSP 12 Standard 602 Rev 3) and the CONTRACTOR procedure.
He shall be fully conversant with the COMPANY's technical requirements and the COMPANY HSE Standards, and must be familiar with the COMPANY safety rules.
He shall be able to read, write and speak English and Malay.

15.0 - MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMETATION SUPERVISORS AND SENIOR TECHNICIAN
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
15.1 SUPERVISORS

15.1.1 Electrical and Instrument Supervisor shall be qualified to National Diploma level or equivalent (Electrical Supervisor minimum qualification of City and Guild 803 Part III and for instrument supervisor minimum qualification of City and Guild 225 part III) shall have not less than 10 years relevant experience, at least two years of which shall have been in supervisory capacity. He shall be required to obtain BSP Authorized Person Status and Familiar with COMAPANY’s Electrical safety rules.
* He shall be fluent in the English language, have proven supervisory and technical capability and are fully conversant with the COMPANY’s technical requirements and the COMPANY HSE Standards.
* He shall be responsible for the supervision and coordination of MATERIALS handling, fabrication, calibration, installation, testing and commissioning of offshore and onshore electrical and instrument facilities under the CONTRANT, and shall be responsible for the workmanship, productivity, conduct and safety of Electrical and Instrument labor force.

15.1.2 The Mechanical Supervisor

* He shall control and supervise a team of mechanical fitters, pipe fitters and helpers. He shall work from plans, drawings, equipment instruction books, and process diagrams, written or verbal instructions.
* He shall coordinate the activities of his crew, and ensure the task allocated to him are executed according to the drawings, specification, COMPANY and International Standards, and in a safe and efficient manner, or by organizing and planning his work correctly.
* Mechanical Supervisors shall be qualified to HND level or equivalent. He shall have a minimum 3 years experience in the maintenance.
* He must be able to read and understand drawings and specifications and be fully familiar with all piping fittings and components including piping materials and pressure classifications.
He should have good appreciation of all relative International Standards and Codes of Practice in addition to COMPANY specifications.
* All Supervisors shall be able to read, write and speak English and Malay.
* To have proven supervisory ability and sufficient self-motivation to control and direct work crew consisting of foreman, technicians and artisans.

15.2 - SENIOR TECHNICIANS

Duties and general requirement:-
As with the general requirement for foreman, but with less emphasis on Supervisory capabilities, senior technician will be expected to be acting Foreman for short periods of time and should have previous experience related to that requirement. At least 8 years (excluding training) construction and commissioning experience spend in the oil and gas, petrochemical industry.

15.2.1 SENIOR ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

In conjunction within the general requirements for senior technicians:-
* Possess a minimum qualification of City and Guilds (London) 803 Part III or National Diploma or equivalent.
* Have a good faultfinding and diagnostic ability.
* Be conversant with industrial electronic control system associated with generators, motors, battery charges and protection devices. Have knowledge of and worked with thyrister drive systems.
* Have a good working knowledge of heavy power generation; switching, earthing and isolation procedures on LV switch gear and associated electrical/electronic equipment.

15.2.2 SENIOR INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN

In conjunction with the general requirement for senior technician:-
Possess a minimum qualification City and Guild 225 part III or National Diploma or equivalent.
Have a good fault finding and diagnostic ability in the construction and commissioning of on line process instrumentation in the following fields:-
i. Electronic/Electrical
ii. Pneumatics
iii. Hydraulic
iv. Mechanical

* Must have a working knowledge and experience of those items listed for the instrument foremen.
* Have the ability to carry out pipe/tube fitting, terminate cables, barrier glands and wiring to good industrial standards and good craftsmanship. Preferably a Bruneian.

16.0 - ELECTRICAL/INSTRUMENTAION TECHNICIAN

16.1 ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

* The electrical technician must have a minimum of 5 years working knowledge and experience (excluding training) on construction and commissioning activities spend in the oil and gas petrochemical industry. Prefer to have experience with Post Weld Heat Treatment.
Possess a minimum technical qualification of C and G (London) 823 or National Diploma or equivalent. Have a good fault finding and diagnostic ability.
* Must have a working knowledge and experience of those items listed in the Senior Electrical Technician. Have the ability to terminate cables, barrier glands while and carry out wiring to good industrial standards and craftsmanship. Preferably a Bruneian.

16.2 INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN

* The instrument Technician must have a minimum 5 years working knowledge and experience (excluding training) on construction and commissioning activities spend in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.
* Possess a minimum qualification of C & G 225 II or equivalent. Have a good fault finding and diagnostic ability in the construction and commissioning of on line process instrumentation in the following field:-
a) Electrical/Electronic
b) Pneumatic
c) Hydraulic
d) Mechanical

* Have the ability to carry out pipe/tube fitting work, terminate cables, barrier glands and wiring to good industrial standards and craftsmanship. Preferably a Bruneian
