It just occurred to me that when people get engaged, they make a sort of wish list. Ally and I are putting together a list of dishes and flatware and whatnot. However, I think it would be appropriate if I had a DeLorean-related list, too. If you're feeling generous, here are a few things I've been saving up for but haven't managed to buy yet.

Parts:
- Heninger's LCAs
- Uding's LCA braces
- Heninger's door strut mounting brackets
- knee pads (black)
- glove box insert
- brake rotors (front and rear)

Tools:
- metric deep-socket set
- pair of jack-stands
- cold chisel
- workbench
- vice

The wedding is in March of 2015. If I buy any of these items for myself between now and then, I'll let you know. LOL

A stainless steel vibration reducing Borgeson steering column is conspicuously absent from Farrar's list -- the romance must not be that serious after all.

Be careful with that suspension list.  It gets expensive but is well worth it.  I drove 90 mph on the interstate today for a few minutes on my way to work.  It was very nice.  I have a feeling this upgrade will be even more expensive when I get a speeding ticket. I know I shouldn't drive too fast but it just amazes me that no matter how fast I drive, that silly steering wheel doesn't vibrate.

Wrong -- pontificators, prevaricators, and arbiters of DeLorean purity will tell you: there is nothing wrong with the original design that can't be cured with a set of Martin Gutkowski's polyurethane bushings (even if Lotus ultimately decided to put true lower wishbones on their own cars).

They will also tell you that there is no need to carry a spare tire, even if you are driving on a set of cheap made in China tires.

well everyone knows Fix-A-Flat is Jesus-in-a-Can™.

also, tires never ever get sidewall damage.

Good point, Bill. I'll add that to the list and blame the cold medicine I'm on for its original omission.

My fiancé bought me some socks and shirts and a close-quarters electric drill for an engagement present. It looks like the relationship is pretty serious after all...
