For those users unfamiliar with certain pejoratives for DeLorean purists used by some members of this forum, the following definitions are cited in an effort to make reading this forum easier.

PONTIFICATE

reference: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/pontificate

intransitive verb definition 2, "to speak or express opinions in a pompous or dogmatic way."

Thus, a "pontificator" is someone who speaks or expresses opinions in a pompous or dogmatic way.

PREVARICATE

reference: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/prevaricate

"to deviate from the truth."

Thus, a "prevaricator" is one who lies.

Therefore, in practice of reading, you can see "pontificators/prevaricators" and think "pompous liars."

It is hoped that this information will be helpful to those who have not encountered the above terms regularly prior to seeing them in daily use here.
