Courtesy of Mr. Tony Swann, I thought I'd share a couple pics of my car, #1798, taken during its stay at the Troy, MI, QAC, Aug-October 1981.
Other than the training cars, no other DeLorean at the Troy QAC had more work performed to it than my car - but there's a reason/story behind that.
To check to see if your car went through the Troy, MI, QAC, and a detailed listing of the work performed to it while it was there, you can visit
http://www.deloreanpogs.com/, a site developed and maintained by Tony Swann, Rich W, and former Troy POG Chris Duvall.
Notice in the pics how my car didn't yet have the fixed-mast fender mounted antenna that it does today. I was always trying to figure out why I had that antenna, but didn't also have a windshield embedded antenna as it should have being a fairly early car. Turns out that the QAC added the fender mount and replaced the windshield on my car - mystery solved as to when and where, but I still don't know why (but hopefully that question will be answered by Chris Duvall himself at this year's Woodward Dream Cruise)!
