DM48 to Laptop

I would like to load sounds for my DM48 into my laptop that is being used for sending  my Midi backing tracks to my Ketron SD2 sound module. I am not sure the module will accept another midi in connection, so I was thinking of using a midi hub with one cable in for my sequencer program, and another for my DM48 sound source, I don't know much about these things to know.
