Not sure if there is a compiled list of iOS apps that have MPE capabilities, so I figured I'd reach out and find out what you guys are getting yourselves into - favorite apps?

Thus far, I've experimented with these MPE aware apps - Garage Band (ok, shows promise), Animoog (great, requires some tweaking), ThumbJam (ok, haven't found my groove yet) and Magellan 2 (liking it thus far - shows promise).

I know about Geoshred and plan on buying it in the near future. I haven't tested it yet, but I know Moog's other apps are MPE aware, so this should be fun.

Thoughts?

My favorite inexpensive set of sounds is an iPad app called Heavy Brass.  On the DM48 it runs on the standard Wind global.  GeoSWAM is great on the iPad but it is also good on the iPhone (Heavy Brass doesn't run on the iPhone at all)

This is useful - It has a comprehensive list of everything really

Just to say playing the Animoog with my hand, like a left hand on a piano and the DM48 like a right hand gave some pretty interesting results.

Thanks for the list. I have a few with the inclination to buy a few more. Now I have to figure out how to dial this thing in. It seems with each patch or app, the DM48 requires different settings.

I downloaded Noise from Roli and it doesn't seem to work with anything other than Roli's devices. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. It's free to try, so someone else give it a shot.

Yeah I agree about Animoog and playing with two hands. It's one of the oldest synths, and still one of the best.

On the ipad I love the heavy brass sounds and oddly I find the trombone to be the most responsive.  Not necessarily my favorite sound, but quickest response.
