Hi, all,
I decided to just post a video, warts and all, of my full practice. I did it in around 30 minutes, which I think is pretty efficient considering the scope of the exercises. I added annotations after so you can differentiate between the sections. Im able to play them super efficiently now, whereas before i had to pause periodically to center myself in preparation for the next sequence. I make a lot of mistakes but I don't care if you hear them. I'm still not where i want to be, skill-wise, but these exercises are challenging to play, especially with no pauses between them.
If you learn these exercises, even not perfectly, you will be able to play pretty much any note sequence when you want to learn something because I think these exercises make you play the most common melodic note sequences.
I'll be posting a couple of original songs soon. Probably within the next week. They use much of what I practice every day and they sound good from my perspective. I make fewer mistakes playing these songs because my practice exercises are always harder to play than what i play "for real".
