For those of you using the DM48 w/ your iOS device, how are you connecting to the PA mixer for live shows?  I'm assuming I would need  some adapters to a direct box but I'm not clear on exactly what I would need.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you!

I've only done this at home so far, but I either put a microphone up to my Ipad or I have an FM mini transmitter (from Ali-Express) that I put near the Ipad and that sends the audio to any FM radio. (I use 88MHz since that's a dead spot on FM here) My transmitter has a Mic or an AUX input, but I use the built in Mic. Going from the Ipad to another Bluetooth speaker is Delay City! Really bad!

I have ThumbJam on both an iPhone and iPad. Both have (the older) external speaker jacks and Bluetooth.  I have a guitar Rig 2 connected to the iPad and using the iPad’s Bluetooth to connect to the DM48X.  The Rig 2 is then plugged into a channel of the Harbinger MLS 1000 PA.  My iPhone is connected to my Harbinger MLS 1000 via a Bluetooth channel. This way I can hopefully play to backing tracks or over music on my phone.  When I play out with a guitar player, I don’t need the phone.  That’s the plan.  My DM48X is  a few days old.  String Ensemble, Flute, Trumpet seem to sound good, not much else.  Sax is too breathy.  Not impressed with GarageBand sounds.  I am transitioning to the changes in breathing since it is more airtight and less volume is required.  I have not messed too much with other properties outside of the presets. The octave-1 helps to obtain a lower note than C.  I hope to do some Christmas tunes soon.

If you don't have the headphone jack on your iOS device, you will need the famous lightning -> p2 jack adapter to get a p2 audio out jack. After that, you send it to the PA as you would with any similar analog audio source.

Something like this should be ideal, as you are able to connect the audio out + a charging cable to keep your device charged. And additionally, you can, if necessary, connect your DM48 via USB for lower latency and to keep it charged:
https://www.amazon.com/Certified-Headphone-Converter-Lightning-Connector/dp/B08THPSQ83/ref=sr_1_10?crid=2VD145PX4MEO7&keywords=lightning+to+3.5mm+usb&qid=1663599993&sprefix=lightning+to+3.5mm+usb%2Caps%2C207&sr=8-10

Other optios are also available:
- this very simple and minimalist version: https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-Headphones-Certified-Lightning-Compatible/dp/B07Y23BZP2/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=2VD145PX4MEO7&keywords=lightning+to+3.5mm+usb&qid=1663600124&sprefix=lightning+to+3.5mm+usb%2Caps%2C207&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1

- Or this interesting "male" version: https://www.amazon.com/Upgraded-Charging-Compatible-Simultaneously-Headphone/dp/B08CY4CFLG/ref=sr_1_11?crid=2VD145PX4MEO7&keywords=lightning+to+3.5mm+usb&qid=1663599993&sprefix=lightning+to+3.5mm+usb%2Caps%2C207&sr=8-11

I hope this helps.
Greetings from Brazil,
Fernando

Fernando - Thank you for that detailed information.
I have ordered one of those adapters, which includes
both the audio output mini jack and a power-in jack.
Regards, Rudy
