6th Issue of the DelMi District Newsletter

Del-Mi Scouters,

The 6th Issue of the Del-Mi District Newsletter is attached to this email. I hope that you find it useful at this time of crisis and that this email finds you safe and well. This newsletter does not contain a calendar as all in-person events are canceled.

This newsletter cannot possibly hold all the information that is still evolving to allow some level of scouting to go on virtually (online). I have included some to get you started, though some units have already forged their way into the virtual Troop/Pack meeting world.

A lot of ideas are already online on Facebook and a variety of Scouter websites. Units from scouting organizations all over the world are sharing what they are doing to continue the scouting spirit. By the way, regarding Facebook, we have the Del-Mi and Crossroads (Official) Facebook groups as you probably well know. There are, however, two "un-official groups I would like to point out:

1) The DelMi District Scouting Units
2) The Crossroads Council Scouting Units

Both groups are for Scouters to share ideas, stories, photos, and information. Please join them. They are full of great information. 

As I say in the newsletter...we will persevere. We will get through this. I look forward to the day we meet in person at a camporee (and I hope that we make it the best-attended camporee ever).
