Stories to Wake You Up,

          Stories that Heal

October 1, 7:30 p.m.--Evening Talk with John Tarrant Roshi
October 2, 9:30 a.m.--One Day Retreat with John Tarrant Roshi

The ancient wisdom of Zen koans tells how to make room in your life for the unaccountable. You don't have to worry your way through a predicament; it is more like when you hear music and your body just dances.  Koans are a great treasure that anyone can bring to life. They can show you how to be at home in the universe, including your own life.  After 20 years of teaching Zen in the classical way, John Tarrant developed a way to introduce koan practice in a small group setting that requires no experience with meditation or Zen.

John is the author of Bring Me the Rhinoceros--& Other Zen Koans to Bring You Joy  and The Light Inside the Dark: Zen, Soul & the Spiritual Life.   He has a PhD in psychology.

We invite you to join us for this wonderful experience.  For more information or to register by phone, call 602-904-5270.  To register online, click here.
