MCLEAN DISTRICT STATION (DISTRICT 3)

 

ROBBERY

 

Arlington Boulevard/ East Tripps Run Road

A 23-year-old Falls Church-area man was assaulted and robbed near Arlington Boulevard and East Tripps Run Road around 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 11. The victim was riding his bicycle when he was approached by three men. The suspects pushed the victim off his bike and assaulted him. They took his wallet, and then fled on foot down Arlington Boulevard. The victim reported the incident to police about 90 minutes later. The suspects could only be described as two black males and one white male. The victim did not require medical treatment.

 

ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER/DISORDERLY CONDUCT/DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY/ARREST

 

Gallows Road/ Gatehouse Road

A woman was arrested after she allegedly assaulted a police officer on Friday, September 12. Around 2 p.m. an employee of a storage facility in the 2900 block of Gallows Road phoned police after the woman allegedly broke glass and urinated on the property. Officers located the woman walking in the area of Gallows Road and Gatehouse Road. She threatened them and refused to follow their commands. As they took her into custody, she resisted and assaulted one of the officers. Glinda Richardson, 41, of no fixed address, was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and charged with felony assault on a police officer, disorderly conduct and destruction of property.

 

BURGLARY OF OCCUPIED DWELLING

A 43-year-old Falls Church-area woman awoke to find a man in her home on Wednesday, September 17. Around 8:40 a.m. the woman heard someone knocking at her front door. After several minutes, the knocking stopped and she heard an unusual noise. The woman got up to investigate and found a man standing in her hallway. The suspect was startled by the victim and fled out the door with a pry bar. The victim was not injured and nothing was taken. The suspect was described as Hispanic, about 25 years old. He was approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and 230 pounds with a stocky build. He was wearing a yellow T-shirt and dark khaki pants.
