Not to confuse anybody, but that actual location of the sexual assault last night along the Lee Hwy corridor actually occurred in Falls Church City. The Fairfax County Police department was conducting the surveillance of the suspect, but the actual jurisdiction of the offense is in the City of Falls Church. Because of this, the the Falls Church City Police department made the actual arrest. This case is still very fluid and being investigated by a number of jurisdictions. While our department investigates this case and all the other cases, you should still remain alert and be aware of your surroundings. attached is the map of recent sexual assaults.
