Dear Colleagues,

Please consider completing the following survey for a preliminary study entitled “Framing, Teaching, and Skill-Building: Creating a Digital Competency Framework for Undergraduate Library Instruction” in partial fulfillment for the degree of PhD in Information Studies.

This study examines the need and desire for a framework for digital competency skill instruction for academic librarians. This preliminary study is intended to determine the need for a larger study focused on building this type of digital competency skill framework for academic librarians.

If you are a current (or have ever been) a teaching-librarian who has taught digital skills in any academic environment, please consider taking this (https://dom.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cOtXokdavYoB0eG) brief 10-15 min survey. If you know of others that fit the criteria of this study, I’d be grateful if you’d consider passing this along.

Thank you for considering participating in this study,

Victoria Longfield
