Hello, all -

I hope you had a restful end of 2025.  As a reminder that we have two surveys open through Friday, January 9th.  If you have already responded, you do not need to submit them again.

We have one survey about participation (https://forms.gle/FgZ1xkqm75Dasswq5) — note that the current results are also in the planning document, along with preliminary ideas for projects and activities.  If you have a few minutes to look at that document, please consider adding ideas or comments, or just skimming the suggestions to mull over before we discuss at our kick-off meetings: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1HcJF5J9gXdVL7ZpGPnVUdI8imbugce7Desr0hR9CMdQ/edit?usp=sharing

I also want to mention that many respondents have asked for options to participate asynchronously, so even if you don't think you will be able to attend meetings regularly, please consider looking at the planning document and making suggestions about other ways that you might like to contribute (e.g., in the asynchronous participation section) or topics/projects that would be most helpful to support your work.

The other survey is about preferences on meeting times (https://forms.gle/nmbJv2sxQ6utyWqv7).  Based on the current responses, I am tentatively planning two kick-off meetings that would be on a Wednesday around 4 pm ET/ 1 pm PT and a Friday around 2 pm ET/ 11 am PT (these times should give all respondents at least one likely option).  The specific dates will be sometime at the end of January or beginning of February, but it may be coordinated with the rest of the AIGs.  If neither of these times will work for you, or if you have any particular preferences about which week we choose to start, let me know and I'll do my best to take it into account.

Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions or thoughts.

Best,

Hannah
