Hi John, yes I received your email earlier in the week and was expecting your update on Thursday. Sounds like it is not worth our while running the DBSC racing on Sunday and also in view of the fact that the forecast at this stage is for strong winds. 

Please take this email as a cancellation for Sunday

I am not sure you received my mail from last Tuesday. 4 IDRAs are hoping to participate in the SDC regatta this Sunday. One IDRA wishes to sail in DBSC. Other IDRAs are not available. However weather forecast for Sunday (winds F5) may prevent the IDRAs sailing across bay to Sutton. I apologise if you did not receive my mail from Tuesday for whatever reason. I wanted to provide advance notice with an update today. Can you confirm receipt of this mail please.

I've just had an email from the IDRA Class Captain to say that due to an event in Clontarf this weekend, there will be only IDRA 14 (at most) racing on the dinghy course this coming Sunday.  As there has been no appetite to-date for Sunday racing from the Fireballs and very little interest from the Lasers, unless there is a lot for interest from the PYs my inclination would be to cancel.

I wonder if you could do a quick poll of the PY class to see how many might turn up if we go ahead.

As you probably know the practice race for the Laser Worlds is scheduled for Sunday with the event running for the week.
