Senior DevOps Engineer – Information Technology Group

Summary

Experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with over 7 years of expertise in designing, automating, and optimizing mission-critical deployments in Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments. Proven ability to modernize DevOps pipelines, support enterprise-scale cloud migrations, and implement secure, scalable infrastructure solutions.

 

Server & Cloud Experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Azure Cloud Services, including Azure Web Apps, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Service Bus, and Microsoft Entra ID for identity and access management.
• Experience with Windows Server administration, including IIS installation, configuration, and migration to Azure.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPNs, Private Endpoints, and Virtual Networks.
• Familiar with SSO, OAuth, Managed Identities, and Azure Service Principals for secure authentication and authorization.
• Supported integration and support of enterprise tools such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, and PowerApps within an organization.
• Hands-on experience with cloud migrations, hybrid environments, and governance best practices.
• Exposure to AWS and GCP aa complementary platforms is a plus.

 

DevOps & Automation Experience

• Expertise in Azure DevOps, including Git Repos, Boards, Pipelines, and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with CD/CD tools such as Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Developed and maintained PowerShell and Azure CLI scripts for automation and deployment.
• Familiar with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized deployments.
• Implemented monitoring and logging using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Supported Power BI dashboards into DevOps workflows for real-time operational insights and reporting.
• Experience with automated testing using frameworks such as Selenium for UI testing, along with unit and integration testing tools.
• Worked with centralized job scheduling tools and supported production environments.
• Applied DevSecOps principles, including RBAC, Conditional Access, and secure pipeline practices.
• Supported API lifecycle management and gateway configuration using Azure API Management.
• Supported data pipeline orchestration and cloud data warehousing using Snowflake, DataBricks and ADF in hybrid cloud environments.

 

Database & Application Support

• Experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, SQL Managed Instance and general database administration.
• Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries for application support and reporting.
• Supported application changes and Change Management processes in production environments.
