Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced Mainframe FOCUS Programmers to support mission-critical applications for a leading client. The ideal candidates will have strong expertise in FOCUS programming, mainframe technologies, and a proven ability to work in a hybrid delivery model.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using FOCUS on IBM Mainframe systems.
2. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
3. Write efficient JCL and COBOL code to support FOCUS applications.
4. Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and project managers.
6. Provide production support and resolve issues in a timely manner.

 

Required Skills:

1. 4+ years of experience in FOCUS programming on mainframe platforms.
2. Strong knowledge of JCL, COBOL, VSAM, DB2, and TSO/ISPF.
3. Experience with report generation and data extraction using FOCUS.
4. Familiarity with Infosys delivery models and quality standards is a plus.
5. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
