Entity Linking

Hello,

I want to run the Entity-Linking component on an input file and I am not sure how to start and which module to use.
I am wondering if there is a tutorial explaining how to do that in DKPro-WSD.

Dear Heba,

depending on the sense inventory you would like the entities to, you will need to use different components. I recommend to use Wikipedia as it mostly contains entities. You could use one of the dictionaries derived from Wikipedia. The corresponding readers are in module de.tudarmstadt.ukp.dkpro.wsd.si.dictionary

You could also use a wrapper from the module de.tudarmstadt.ukp.dkpro.wsd.wrapper-gpl. Unfortunately, there are not too many wrappers. You can use the most frequent sense with the LinkDatabaseMFADisambiguator. I can provide you with the corresponding database if you are interested.
