Hi,
sorry for bringing this up again - but I really want a time stamp in the naming of data folder. For finding certain folders, especially when working on a command line, a time stamp as part of the folder name would be really helpful. This is certainly motivated again from a TC perspective but would it hurt a lot to extend the UUID that is currently created by a YYYYMMDDHHMM

something like: InitTask-Train-MyExperiment-20170515151000-14b610bd-3937-11e7-b901-bbcb3129277c

When creating cross validation runs over several configurations and you want to find a certain folder via command line having this info as part of the folder name is extremely helpful.

How about you make the default context ID pattern used by the DefaultTaskContextFactory configurable, e.g. via a system property?

Cheers,

Is there already a mechanism for setting/loading properties in Lab? What exactly do you have in mind? setIdFormat(UUID) vs setIdFormat(DATE) ?
