It may be 33.600 modem, but it is definately not 33.600 fax

Probably not.

Including Moms (VAT), import tax and shipping it will probably go above
1100 DKr, and that would be a waste of money.

If you parcel gets stopped by customs, you will be charged 25% moms +
import tax... which on some goods is 0% on others i.e. records/videos
can be up to about 10%...
Check this out with your local Told & Skat office, they are normally
helpful...
If you regularly import goods from the USA, you should register as an
importer... which gives you a few weeks credit before you must pay the
import moms and import tax...
