Virtualisering - XP på en ARM ppc?

Kan det overhovedet lade sig g�re?
Jeg t�nker p� noget ala WMware som k�res i et Windows Mobile milj�?

Det beh�ver ikke at v�re et fullblown XP OS men jeg eftersp�rger bare
muligheden for at k�re en 32bit app som normalt k�rer p� 98/2000/XP/Vista

Denne besked lyder nemlig ikke lovende:

"problem is that ms never let anybody get hold of their source to
compile it for other cpu's then x86 based ones which dont include arm

so the whole thing would have to be emulated
and emulating a cpu much more powerfull is never good
if you compare a 400Mhz arm based cpu's that we may have in our pda's
it's about as fast as a p1 120Mhz which also run xp pretty poorly
and when you emulate you need tons of mem and it will add layrs
making the whole xp slower then on a pentium 1 120Mhz

thats the reason why people dont wanna spend � year making it happen or
how much it may require"

I guess, the only way to "run Windows", at any level, on an ARM, is via a
reasonable clientsoftware. MSTSC is working reasonable good on ie. HP
PDA's.

Vil aldrig funke. Der er dog mulighed for at k�re det som en terminalsession
i et virtualiseret andet milj� med markant flere cpu og gpu kr�fter
