Lave plugin til Office

Hej NG

Er det korrekt at man ikke kan lave plugins til Office hvis man kun
har Visual Studio 2010 Express?
Min licens til Team Edition er nemlig udløbet efter endt uddannelse så
nu hænger jeg på den mindre udgave.

Er man afhængig af VSTO for at kunne lave plugin eller kan man
"hardcode" det selv?

Selvfølgelig kan man hardcode det hele selv; spørgsmålet er så blot, om
indsatsen står mål med udgiften? Jeg tror det ikke.

Nej.

Du må kunne bruge COM direkte til at arbejde med Office.

Du bør også kunne downloade VSTO, udpakke det og manuelt
bruge de assemblies for command line build eller VS Express
(de dyre udgaver bruger samme compiler og samme libs som
dem - det er kun diverse wizards, templates, tools etc.
som gør forskellen).

Men du vil have meget svært ved at finde god dokumentation. MS
dokumenterer naturligvis den supporterede måde at gøre det på.
