Hey guys, how are you doing today?
My name is Luiz, and I'm a python developer, but not with a lot of experience. I'm currently using Djongo in a project for a company I'm working with but, after we have an MVP, I realized the package isn't up-to-date in PyPI, so I created a fork.
My fork is called
dj-mongo-backend, and I'm fixing the bugs with the help of current PRs of the main Djongo's repo, but now I'm identifying new bugs and I need to fix them to my project.
All that said, can any of Djongo contributors take a little time to introduce me to how the package works and the basics I need to know to start developing bug fixes?
I'm going to use this knowledge to maintain my fork, which is available for free on Pypi and
GitHub and which I have no interest in monetizing, so I would appreciate a free contribution. However, I understand if you need to charge for time, and you can call me privately with your experience, price, and we can arrange a call.
Also, issues, PRs and our discussions are open as I think we need an updated and secure alternative to this package.
