MS Language Pack is a software package that allow Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint...) to be used in different languages other than the English and French (by default in CERN CMF). Beyond simple user interface changes, this pack includes proofing tools to improve productivity.

How to make an un-anttended installation of proofing tool, I went through couple of articles asking to modify the Config file in the proofwww , but when i try to run the setup it get stuck in choosing the customize and install option , I tried to install via PDQ deploy with parameters /q /norestart , but still haven't got lucky with the installation .
I may have misunderstood the literature regarding the language packs or language proofing tools. 1st of all I am not sure if they are the different names for the same thing or not. Are they? 2nd I do not in ay way want to change my UI with a different language. All I want to be able to do is -1- let Office not give me those squiggly red lines when I write in a different language -2- be able to spell-check and grammar check in the other language. And since I often use more than one language at the same time (2 to 3) be able to use all of the languages for spell-check etc. at the same time. So what exactly am I looking for?
Anyway, for the editing language, you have the proofing tools, which include spell check, grammar check etc. These tools aren't available separately, but some versions of MS-Office include more than one language. See Localized versions of Office.
Important Notes: Must be run from administrator account. Targeted account must have opened Word at least once (it will still work, but not fully as some auto-correct features must be initiated in the registry first). Targeted account can not be logged on while running this. This toggles proofing on/off and will not affect other accounts. This disables the options menu/auto-correct/thesaurus/grammar.
Tips: If using this and you need an easy way to toggle proofing, simply make a shortcut to ToggleProof.exe and right-click the shortcut and select properties. From there you can append the location of the ntuser.dat (in quotes) to the target field. Then all you have to do from there on in is click that shortcut to toggle whether or not proofing is on.
My office 2007 article for disabling proofing was a simple hack. I renamed msproof6.dll (controls all proofing), then when I noticed Office install came up to repair that missing file, I simply also renamed that setup file. It never complained after that and proofing was gone.

Additional proofing languages must be bought separately. However for those users who upgrade from Office 2003 and who had purchased the Office 2003 proofing tools set, if you use the facility in the Office 2007 setup routine to upgrade Word 2003, then the additional Office Proofing Tools will be retained and the proofing tools will work much as they did before (albeit with a few anomalies listed later).
