For a Django newbie

My friend wants to start playing around with Django. I managed to
dissuade her from installing XAMPP just in time, and then she showed
me this: http://bitnami.org/stack/djangostack

But what would be the best thing to start with overall? This is
someone on OS X Leopard.

Somebody should try installing it! I don't have time ATM. Maybe we can
just do it on Sunday...
