Midweek meetups?

Not to steal anyone's thunder or anything, but I was wondering if
there is any interest in attending meetups during a weekday? I'm happy
to coordinate events if there is enough interest. If you are, can you
provide your general location?

What if we did it in a central location (like downtown LA). That would
probably be easy for everyone since it would be against the flow of
traffic? If so, I could do a mid week meetup.

I might be able to host a mid-week meetup in downtown LA, if given enough notice! At my office in Litlte Tokyo, to be exact

I'm coming from Claremont so Downtown L.A. is preferable for me (as opposed to anything west of Downtown). I'd love to be able to take the Metro but that only gets me to Union Station. Driving that direction isn't bad later in the evening which works as well. Thanks for the offer Esther.

I'd love to attend the weekend dates as well. Unfortunately so far my available weekends have been filling up. It would cool to meet on days that other Django groups are having meetups in other cities (Thurs. seems to be popular) just for the whole pseudo comraderie thing at least :)
