Dear Kris:

I have seen you are active in the python community. Do you know any
small team of Python Django developers who might be able to dedicate
themselves to a Django project?

We are looking to develop an HR social network. Actually, the site has
already been developed to a large extent in Django but some important
functions are not working. We are now willing to spend up to $15,000
to get the product developed 100% within 10 weeks.

We might also be interested in full time employees but would require
that these people work in our office in Madrid, Spain.

By the way, if this is too spammy, please let me know.

I got the same identical email. I read that somebody grabbed a bunch
of emails from djangopeople and is spamming people, I don't think it's
legit.

I also got one of those emails :)

I don't generally have a problem with people posting job opps on these (I did it myself last week). In general though it is probably a good idea to have firsthand knowledge of the opportunity. I felt a little dirty myself (and sorry if anyone was offended), but I also know that it could be a great opportunity for someone. We're a virtual company (everyone works from home), are very well connected with the top-tier Django community members, and do work for household name media companies (Nat. Geo., PBS).
