Hi Jeb,

Is this is a remote position ?

I have around 7 years of Python experience and I used to work on django during its .96/ 1.2 days and now have started using it
again in some capacity.

Thanks,
Chandrashekar

Hello,

I'm part of a group of entrepreneurs from the US, the UK, and Denmark. We do startups of different types and we work together to develop business when we see opportunities in the market. It is a talented and friendly group, and we have a horizontal and collaborative dynamic where everyone plays a role in making decisions and working on complex and interesting problems. Currently, we are looking for a programmer from India who has deep knowledge and experience with Django / Python for a major new project. We want to offer this person a salary that would be competitive with the best Indian programmers, and we also want to offer them a key role in what should be a very exciting and challenging project.

A few questions then:

1.) How much would a competitive salary be for a Indian programmer with good experience in Django / Python?
2.) What are the best forums or websites to find programmers Django / Python in India?

Many thanks in advance for your thoughts and feedback.

Sincerely,
Jeb
