Hi Ismail,

Good initiative! I started on quite a large Django project last year
but unfortunately it got cut mid-way. I haven't seen many other Django-
based sites developed in South Africa so would like to see somebody
compile a list of them somewhere.

Charl, I think Alans site is built with Python/Django (Alan?) - http://withtank.com

Should be one of the largest SA developed sites using django...Alan would be interested to in hearing what your experiences are i read a post on your blog that initially tank was developed using PHP but you guys moved it to Django....

Charl: have you checked out pygowave -  http://code.google.com/p/pygowave-server/, A python-django based (rudimentary) wave server, can be used to test/develop widgets etc. I have mywave.co.za if anyone is interested in playing around could set up a server.
