Hi,

I'm a beginner with Linux so be patient with me, please.

I got a Raspberry PI and I'd like to install wiki following this guide: https://django-wiki.readthedocs.io/en/latest/installation.html#configure-settings-installed-apps

I managed to find out configuring "settings.INSTALLED_APPS" (I hope I did right), but after this I cannot find the file "manage.py".

Could you help me?

Hi Junpet,

You need to create a project in Django and then add django-wiki as an
application.

To do this, you need to follow basic Django documentation -- not the
django-wiki documentation, which assumes that you are familiar with
Django itself :)

Good luck,
Benjamin

Thanks your reply!

Now I am lost. I tried searching a nice beginner friendly step by step tutorial to install wiki, but I couldn't find any.

Do you know something like that?

Hi Junpet,

You are probably under the impression that "django-wiki" is a
stand-alone project. It is an application for Django, and as such there
is no "beginner-friendly" tutorial for installing the wiki, which also
introduces Django.

Instead, you need to be familiar with Django by using the resources that
are generally available for Django.

The website is here: https://www.djangoproject.com/

Have a nice day,
Benjamin
