I was upgrading a non-production machine to CentOS 4.5 from 4.4, when
Django 0.95.1 broke. It looks like Django was unable to connect to
MySQL. I am going to do some testing and post a follow up. I was
wondering if anyone else was using CentOS or Red Hat Enterprise Linux
4.X with Django? If so have you upgraded to 4.5 yet?

The following are a list of rpm packages I replaced to get Django
working again.
python-elementtree-1.2.6-4.2.1.i386.rpm
python-2.3.4-14.2.i386.rpm
MySQL-python-1.0.0-1.RHEL4.1.i386.rpm

I'm thinking what broke Django was MySQL-python-1.2.1_p2-1.el4.1 or
python-2.3.4-14.4 or python-elementtree-1.2.6-5.el4.centos.

If anyone out their upgraded CentOS from 4.4 to 4.5 and had other
issues with Django or had no issues. I would be interested in
comparing notes to narrow down what broke Django.

Thanks,

Mike
