Django Custom User model and making auth api

Hello every i m currently working on a project where had to overwrite the  AbstractBaseUser and i did follow some tutorial :

But now I need to make a good login API, so later I can log in with my React app,  and i m kinda lost any recommendation about any tutorial  ?

I don't have a ton of experience with it but when a question includes the term "create an API", the answer usually includes "just use Django Rest Framework".

Hello, hope you're doing well,

I did a similar work and I find out that  django-rest-auth  is lo longer supported and don't receive any new update, do you have any ideas about which is the best third party for auth ?  https://www.django-rest-framework.org/api-guide/authentication/

django-rest-auth is still supported, it's not currently receiving updates, but you can still use it and it has no issues so far.
