Django Channels and Mac users can't connect to wss

to Django users

I have been running a program for three weeks with no issues. Suddenly yesterday people using IPad and Macs can no longer connect to the websocket. I am using Ubuntu 20.04 on AWS. I am not sure why other details would be helpful, I am just wondering if anyone else is having trouble.
